We act as a Personal Data Controller (Pengendali Data Pribadi) for the limited data processed through this Site. We only collect personal data that you voluntarily provide to us, which includes:
- Subscription Data: Your email address, collected when you subscribe to receive our investment memos and partnership letters via our embedded Substack form.
- Communication Data: Your email address and any information provided when you contact us directly via email.
- Log and Technical Data: Standard internet log info, IP addresses, browser configurations, and cookies used to improve site load times and optimize navigation.
3. Purposes and Legal Basis for Processing Data
Under UU PDP, we process personal data based on the following legal bases:
- Consent (Article 20 paragraph 2 letter a of UU PDP): When you input your email address into our subscription box, you explicitly consent to receiving newsletters, memos, and updates.
- Contractual Obligation (Article 20 paragraph 2 letter b of UU PDP): Processing data necessary to perform obligations under our private partnership agreements.
The primary purposes of data processing are to deliver our newsletter distribution, manage communications with prospective and existing partners, and maintain website stability.
4. Data Storage, Security & International Transfers
We implement technical and organizational measures to prevent unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of your personal data.
Third-Party Processors: The newsletter subscription service is powered by Substack Inc., a third-party platform. Your subscription data is transferred to and processed by Substack in accordance with their privacy policies. Dynamic data rendering is supported via Supabase.
By submitting your email, you acknowledge that your personal data may be stored on servers located outside the Republic of Indonesia. We ensure that our third-party processors adhere to standard security practices to protect data integrity.
5. Rights of Data Subjects under UU PDP
As an Indonesian data subject, you hold the following rights under Chapter III of UU PDP:
- Right to Access: You have the right to request information about and copies of your personal data stored by us.
- Right to Rectification: You have the right to correct or update incomplete or inaccurate data.
- Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): You have the right to demand the deletion or destruction of your personal data when it is no longer required or if you withdraw consent.
- Right to Withdraw Consent: You may unsubscribe from our distribution list at any time by clicking the "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of our newsletters.
- Right to Object: You have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing.
6. Data Retention
We retain your email address and communication logs only for as long as your subscription is active or as necessary to address your inquiries. If you unsubscribe, we or our processor (Substack) will purge your data in accordance with normal data lifecycle cycles and OJK/Indonesian legal compliance retention minimums (where applicable).
